PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM
What is ASAM?
ASAM is the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the ASAM Criteria is the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for the placement, stay, transfer and discharge of patients with addiction and co-occurring conditions.
Recoverable offers ASAM L2.5 Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). ASAM L2.5 PHP is the next higher level of care for individuals who are not making optimal recovery progress in ASAM L2.1 IOP.
PHP is a good fit for people who:

Need a high level of care but can remain clean outside of a rehab center.
02
Have already completed a hospital or residential treatment program but feel at imminent risk of relapse.
03
Have a hard time motivating themselves to continue treatment.
04
Have a co-occurring disorder (e.g., anxiety or depression in addition to a substance use disorder).
05
Live in environments where they are at risk for using drugs and have little support.
06
Are not making optimal recovery progress in an IOP.
